You're right, Clifton. As you know, I am surrounded by images of Colbert. Her voice sure rings (like) a bell to me; but when I grew up, I had no access to the original. In Germany, Hollywood movies are dubbed. You'd be lost listening to that lineup.

Without seeing a photo, I'd have difficulty recalling what Claudette looked like. But being a card carrying voice freak, I'll bet I could pick her unique vocal equipment, which I've not heard in many years,out of an audio lineup. I dare say that's part of what makes her special for you, too.
